Progress

August 21, 2010

Yesterday I took the Javelin train from Kings Cross to Stratford International. The journey took 6 minutes and 6 seconds – about half an hour less than it would have taken on the tube. Stratford International is not currently connected to the existing Stratford station, which means you basically exit the station into the middle of a building site (the Olympic Village). The only way out is on via a shuttle bus (which took forever to show up). Here are some photos off my telephone. The big gold slug like building is the Westfield centre.
